In the large studio space, you will find white washed wood floors, 13 foot exposed ceilings, a white brick wall, a flat white wall, a double-sided wood accent wall, and a gray wall. Our smaller space includes a gorgeous finished oak floor, 2 white walls, and 1 white washed, red brick wall with a white washed barn door and a 7×7 foot industrial window. Any furniture that is out in the studios is available for your use. Anything stored in the storage closet is for full time tenants only.

No. The studio is natural light only but you are welcome to bring in any lighting equipment you wish.

Anytime from an hour after sunrise to an hour before sunset. All spaces have very large windows that let in a lot of beautiful natural light. Moodier light earlier and later in the day and more even, bright light in the middle of the day.

Absolutely. But there is custom pricing for multiple photographers sharing the space of the same shoot. Please email us directly for more information.

STUDIO RULES

  • Be sure to schedule time to use the studio so that you are not interrupting other photographer’s shoots. The time you reserve includes your set up and clean up. There will often be people coming in right on your tail so do not go over your scheduled time.
  • Please be courteous to others by only scheduling the spaces you need. Leave other spaces open wherever possible.
  • Only ONE photographer is allowed per shoot. Styled shoots are welcome but are a custom price to accommodate multiple photographers.
  • Clean up after yourself after every shoot (sweeping or mopping the floor, taking garbage out, cleaning linens that are dirtied and return them promptly). BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS and leave the studio as you would like it seen when you arrive for a shoot. The white floors will dirty very easily so please make sure you spot mop them after you are finished. There is a Swiffer mop for dusting and mopping in the closet.
  • NO fires, candles or pets. Absolutely no nails, pins etc in the walls. If you need to adhere something, use command hooks, putty or a gentle tape. If you damage the walls in any way, you are responsible for repairs. You may hang things from the ceiling joists but must remove everything before you leave.
  • Let the management know of any repairs, maintenance, or damage in the studio. If you come to the studio and find something that needs attention, please let management know immediately so the person before you is held responsible. If you do not report something, you could be the one held responsible by the person following.
  • Always make sure the door is locked when you leave.
  • You are welcome to move furniture to any space you like at the studio, but DO NOT DRAG the furniture across the floor. Please have someone help you to move heavy items and make sure to put the furniture back into the place it was when you came in.
  • You may use any of the furniture or equipment that is unmarked and not in the reserved storage area for Full time Photographers.
  • A $25 fee WILL be charged when any of the above rules have been broken.
